Care Property Invest publishes its 2021 sustainability report today. In this report, the company discusses the growing attention to sustainability within the organization and explains how its strategy and objectives will ( will have) a significant impact on the residents of its healthcare establishments, its employees and all stakeholders. The report has been prepared in accordance with international guidelines for sustainable development and reporting (GRI, EPRA sBPR and Euronext ESG Guidelines).

As an investor and employer, Care Property Invest contributes to a sustainable future. Care Property Invest’s sustainability strategy is based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In doing so, Care Property Invest focuses on three different pillars. The first two are our buildings and our care providers, which are obviously the essence of our business activities. The third cornerstone is our responsibility regarding the impact that our own activities have on the environment and our employees.

The sustainability report also reflects the allocation of net proceeds from financial instruments entered into under the Care Property Invest sustainable finance framework to eligible sustainable assets. Care Property Invest’s sustainable financing framework complies with, among others, the guidelines of the Green Bond Principles (ICMA, 2018), the Social Bond Principles (ICMA, 2020) and the Sustainability Bond Guidelines (2018).
