DC Rahul Pandey Releases Post Outlining Socio-Economic Profile of Kathua District

To highlight the socio-economic and development profile of the district, District Development Commissioner Kathua Rahul Pandey released the ‘Village Amenity Directory’ for the year 2021-22 here during a brief release function organized in his office today.

planning director, Uttam Singh; Kathua District Statistics and Evaluation Officer, Ranjeet Thakur; Deputy Director (E&S), Mahesh Kumar and other Kathua DSEO office staff were present at the release ceremony.

The Kathua District Statistics and Evaluation Office is the nodal agency for collecting, compiling and disseminating important statistical data in the district. The data contained in the publication will be an important tool for researchers, planners, students and other users in their respective fields.

After the publication of the publication, the SDC praised the efforts made by the field officials involved in the data collection. He insisted on the need for further improvements in the future with regular updating and wide coverage so that the data is used by all stakeholders.

He also revealed that the publication will be made available in the public domain and citizens can download it from the official website of Kathua District Administration and DSEO Kathua (www.dseokathua.in).
