The whiplashes of state newcomers once turned gray in service to party, country, and self — and not necessarily in that order.

Soon, millennials will give way to Gen Z, as they age in the corroded cocoons of a bipartisan duopoly that shows no signs – other than the perpetuation of dynastic rule – of loosening its long-held grip on power. .

But let’s hope that millennials – in the name of refreshing the political atmosphere of the state – give us a governor or a senator before too long; or maybe two or three, before absorbing the energy of the next generation.

Perhaps that person or persons resides somewhere on the annual InsiderNJ Millennial list that follows.

The sprites of yesteryear have become the rugged veterans of the current era, and what they’re up to next in terms of power projection plots.

Looked.

Perhaps someone here is standing on the cusp of a governorship long voraciously guarded by older generations.

A little wiser over time, the vision has tempered perhaps, battered perhaps but still young, at least compared to the aged charioteers before them, within find today’s rulers, yes – and tomorrow.
