Kenton County Public Library Receives Five Star Rating from Library Journal
The Kenton County Public Library has been awarded five stars by the leading trade publication Library Journal. The Kenton County Public Library has always been highly ranked.
Each year, Library Journal ranks libraries across the country based on visits, circulation, e-book circulation, program participation, and public internet use of computers. The LJ Index gives an overall indication of how libraries stack up against their peers nationally.
Library Journal ranks libraries as three, four or five stars. Kenton County received a five-star rating and was ranked 9th in its category based on libraries across the country. Additionally, Kenton County was one of 17 libraries in the Southeastern United States ranked in the Thousand Possible.
