Palace aides discuss whether they can stop publication of Prince Harry’s tell-all book
Talks are reportedly taking place behind palace gates to see if there is a way to stop the publication of Prince Harry’s memoirs.
The tell-all book written by the Duke of Sussex is expected to be published by Christmas, but no official date has been given.

The death of Queen Elizabeth II would have temporarily postponed the publication.
But there are fears within the royal family that the book contains damaging revelations about key members, prompting palace aides to try to intervene.

The staff are said to be deeply concerned about the contents of the book and have had discussions about whether they can prevent its publication, the Daily Mail reports.
It follows that Prince Harry is seeking to make changes to the book to remove or mitigate any potentially damaging chapters for his family.
The Mail suggests the talks taking place behind the scenes are part of a presidential-style strategy to ensure the crucial first 100 days of King Charles’ reign run smoothly.
“The question inside the palace is, ‘Can the book be stopped?’,” a friend of the king reportedly told the publication.
“Even Harry may not be able to stop it at this point, but the feeling at the top is that there’s no good airing grievances in public.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reunited with the King, Prince and Princess of Wales last month following the Queen’s death.
Prince Harry joined his family for a number of mourning events, including an impromptu meeting with members of the public outside Windsor Castle.
Prince William is said to have orchestrated the moment, inviting his brother and Meghan to join him and Catherine in a big show of unity.
Harry’s book will be published by Penguin Random House under a $60 million deal.
It is very unlikely that his bosses want to delete any part of the book.
In August, it was reported that Harry’s loved ones would not receive an advance copy of his telltale memoir and will have to discover its contents with the rest of the world.
Neither King Charles nor Prince William had seen any part of the manuscript, nor had their lawyers or advisers.
The book is set to deepen the rift between the Duke of Sussex and his family, with Harry previously promising its contents would be “accurate and entirely truthful”.
Those close to the king had hoped for advance notice to prepare, but that did not happen, reports The Telegraph UK.
At the end of July, several media outlets reported that Prince Harry’s book had been “written and a finished manuscript signed by lawyers”.
